The couple will start by submitting an inquiry through our website, and one of our dedicated onsite wedding catering sales executives will promptly respond with details about our venue, photos, and our comprehensive wedding packages.

From there, we’ll arrange a consultation call to discuss their vision, confirm key details like the wedding date and guest count, and place the space on a non-committed soft hold. Next, we’ll schedule a personalized site tour to showcase the venue in person.

If everything aligns perfectly with the couple’s expectations, we’ll finalize the process by sending over a contract. Our process is simple, seamless, and fully customizable to ensure every detail of their wedding dreams is brought to life.

I cannot say how thrilled I was to have our wedding at the W Hotel Philadelphia. The online photos do not do this venue enough justice of how magical this space truly was. We initially had our tour and as soon as we saw the space, my now-husband said “we need to get married here.” The venue was gorgeous, and the hospitality was unmatched from the beginning. During the planning process, our event coordinator was open to all communication. We met Amy six months before our wedding and she was the absolute best. She was able to cover requests we had between the event space, guest rooms, and everything in between. Amy worked with our busy schedule to meet for our tasting and walk through of our events. She was incredibly helpful to make changes prior to our events. I truly felt I knew her a lifetime as she put forward an amazing effort to make our weekend so incredibly special. We hosted four wedding events at the W, our welcome dinner, Wedding Ceremony, Reception, and after party. From the minute we checked in on Thursday before our wedding, we were met with such kindness and a staff that was willing to go above and beyond. The rooms were immaculate and stunning, and the staff were wonderfully accommodating during our entire stay. We spent the day on Friday at the Away Spa, and it was such a relaxing experience before our whirlwind of a weekend. The staff that worked during our wedding, including our maître d, David, made us feel like royalty for the entire weekend. They ensured that we did not go without, and our guests felt like VIPs the entire weekend. The space was gorgeous and everything we ever dreamed our wedding would be. Our first look was on the 49th floor, and the photos turned out exactly as stunning as you could imagine. The food served from the in-house catering staff was absolutely to die for. Our guests had multiple dietary restrictions, and after meeting with the chef during our tasting, he created delicious, top-notch options for every guest. Our guests could not speak higher of how delicious the food was. The service during the entire weekend was top-notch. Leaving on Sunday morning was bittersweet, we were so sad to leave the place that had made us feel so incredibly welcome and special for a short time. The W Philadelphia was everything we expected it would be and so much more, and I am so happy that we were able to get married at such an incredible space accompanied by such wonderful people.

The team at W Philadelphia/WET Deck helped make our NYE wedding weekend perfect. We hosted a Welcome Event at the WET Deck and Fiona and her team were always available for support and always willing to accommodate our requests which made our event a complete success. Many thanks to the staff at W Philadelphia and to the servers at the WET Deck for your professionalism and personal attention to detail! Our weekend wouldn’t have been as perfect without the team at W Philadelphia.

We had one of the first weddings at The W on November 13th! I am finally now getting to write this review because as many soon to-be brides know, wedding planning is a full-time job! We toured the W with hard hats in September 2020 so it was hard to visualize how the W would look with only renderings but my husband and I were optimistic it would be beautiful. We looked at many venues in Philadelphia and were blown away by the modern, new and unique vibe. You dont feel like you are in center city when you are here! We worked with Andrew in sales, and provided him with all of our details on how we expected our wedding day to run. We toured the W several times before it opened. He was very accommodating and in constant communication with us on progress of The W. A few months before our wedding, we then met Nicole who at the time was taking on many different roles as many people have been during this pandemic. She is director of catering at The W but took on the role of wedding coordinator/event planner as well before the Director of Event Planning was hired. She was nothing short of amazing. Getting married during a pandemic can be stressful and having your wedding at a brand new venue isn’t easy either but Nicole put me at ease and made me feel comfortable during the entire process. She truly cares about you and your wedding vision. Three weeks leading up to our wedding, I was emailing/texting/calling Nicole all the time and she was always there to answer my questions and assure me my day would be beautiful. I stayed in the bridal suite the entire weekend and it was amazing!! There is no bridal suite like it in Philadelphia. The room was huge and easily fit my big bridal party for the morning of getting ready! The suite has a bluetooth speaker with many photo opps for the girls. There is a king size bed overlooking the city with blackout shades that are controlled by the click of a button. We had our ceremony in a different room than where the reception would be giving our guests the “wow factor” when they walked into the ballroom. If you are expecting over 180 guests, I do not recommend this as it can be tight. The cocktail hour had a magnificent view of city hall and the ballroom gives off a modern vibe with LED lighting throughout the room. Our guests were on the dance floor the entire night! A few curve balls were most definitely thrown our way but overall, The W was very accommodating and did everything they could to make my wedding day run smoothly while being short staffed. I can’t believe our wedding was already 4 months ago. Thank you again, Nicole, Andrew and all of the W staff that made our wedding day the best day of our lives! We hope to be back soon!
