Cicala at the Divine Lorraine is a gorgeous fine dining Italian restaurant located in the historic Divine Lorraine Hotel on North Broad Street. Opened by award-winning chefs Joe & Angela Cicala in 2019, Cicala is a labor of love, furnished with family heirlooms and decorated with family photos. Both Joe and Angela learned Italian cuisine from their mothers and grandmothers and this shines through every dish.

Services you offer:

We host events of all sizes and types, from full wedding ceremonies and receptions to wedding showers, welcome drinks and farewell brunches. Celebrate under our sparkling chandeliers or on our ample outdoor garden patio, and we'll provide upscale Southern Italian cuisine, fine wines and cocktails, and five-star hospitality.

What is your typical process for working with a new client?

Our dedicated Event Coordinator, Dawn, responds to all inquiries within 24 hours, if not sooner, providing any and all required information. She then meets with the prospective client for an in-person walkthrough of the spaces - weekdays, weekends, and evenings available - and coordinates a reservation so that the couple can try Cicala's food and beverage selections. Detailed proposals are created within 24 hours of the walkthrough (if not before). We welcome special requests and customize the menu, beverages, and layout to create the perfect event.

What services are you most excited to offer?

Our staff loves hosting private events of all sizes, but our absolute favorite event is a wedding!

What makes your business stand apart?

We have one of the most beautiful and unique spaces in Philadelphia, paired with excellent Italian cuisine. Our historic location is one-of-a-kind, and the onsite hotel and sister restaurant make hosting a big event with us even more convenient.

Hours of operation

Tuesday - Sunday, 5:00-10:00 p.m. Private Events can be hosted any day of the week, 11:00 a.m. - 11:00 p.m.

Chairs, tables, linens, votive candles, in-house sound system, wireless microphones, full service catering, including all food, beverages, dining- and service-ware.
