What is your typical process for working with a new client?

When a client fills out a contact form through our website, one of our Event Coordinators sets up a date and time to tour the venues of interest. We walk you through the space and go into full detail how your wedding or special event will be executed. We then sit in the Bridal Suite to discuss available dates, pricing and everything that is included in our event package. When the client decides to move forward with us, a contract is signed and first deposit is made. After that, the client works with their personal Event Coordinator during the duration of time while planning their wedding or special day.

"As a COVID bride, not a lot went “right” when it came to planning my wedding but we definitely got it right using Finley Catering.
I got married at the Crystal Tea Room on New Year’s Eve (12/31/21) and worked with Emily. She was AMAZING. She was not our original event coordinator but the transition was seamless. She became our point of contact just a few months before the big day and truly never skipped a beat. From long phone calls with me and my parents to countless email questions, Emily was beyond professional and helpful.
Then, just a few weeks before our wedding the omicron variant hit causing lots of changes to our guest list. The trickle down effect caused our head count, meal count, seating chart and floor plan to change rapidly. Emily was not only patient and understanding during this stressful and frankly, upsetting time, she was also so sweet and calming. She made me feel better after every call or email and reassured me my special day would still be extra special.
And that’s where Miguel came in. We met with Miguel the week of our wedding (as guests were still dropping/plans were still changing) and his big smile and warm energy made all of that go away. He ran through the evening with us, told us he could deal with any last minute adjustments and like Emily, assured us our wedding would be perfect.
He was spot on. Our wedding was truly perfect and according to the guests that were there, the best party they’d ever been to. The venue was gorgeous, food was delicious, servers and staff were amazing and Miguel made sure everything went off without a hitch. He even threw in some surprises to make up for our loss of guests.
I feel like Emily and Miguel are family and truly can’t thank them enough for all of their hard work. They’re the best, Finley Catering is the best and when I think back on the happy memories from my wedding, Emily and Miguel are certainly apart of them!"
