Hillary Clinton to Appear on Broad City With Philly’s Abbi Jacobson
Hillary Clinton is going to be on an episode of Broad City, y’all. A few hours ago, the Democratic presidential frontrunner tweeted a photo of herself with Broad City stars/creators/hilarious people Abbi Jacobson (a Wayne native) and Ilana Glazer. They’re joined by the show’s executive producer Amy Poehler, who, as you may know, famously portrayed Clinton on Saturday Night Live.

New York Times writer Dave Itzkoff confirmed her appearance in a later tweet, sharing an image of Clinton bear-hugging Jacobson and Glazer on a monitor on set.

No word on what Clinton will actually do in the episode, but from the photo it appears the ladies may be in one of her campaign headquarters. The campaign logo — that “H” with an arrow through it — is in the background. Maybe Abbi and Ilana get really stoned and decide to go volunteer one afternoon. Who knows, but one can only hope they get Clinton to break out of her shell for one hearty “Yas queen!”
The former secretary of state is apparently a longtime fan of the pair. I noticed a while back that of the measly 479 people she follows on Twitter, Jacobson and Glazer make the cut.
Broad City returns to Comedy Central on February 10th.
