For those who were looking forward to catching The Who at the Wells Fargo Center this November, they’ll be mighty disappointed to hear that the band is postponing their North American tour due to Roger Daltrey’s health.

An official press release states that Daltrey contracted viral Meningitis and was given doctor’s orders to rest. Officials go on to state, “The band apologize to fans and realize that the postponement will cause an inconvenience for ticketholders. It wasn’t a decision taken lightly. The Who always give their fans 100% and were never going to compromise the show, but ultimately the band had no alternative but to postpone the tour.”

The band also had local stops in Newark, New Jersey, New York City, Boston, Pittsburgh, and Washington, D.C., all of which have been postponed. Representatives said tickets for the original shows will be honored for new shows which will be announced shortly.
