Wheel of Fortune Seeking Contestants This Weekend in Atlantic City
If you ever wanted to spin the wheel, you might get a chance at a special event being held this Saturday and Sunday in Atlantic City.
The Wheel of Fortune “Wheelmobile” is having a weekend of auditions and fun at the Claridge Hotel in AC to honor the touring attraction’s 500th stop. The 36-foot, 13-foot high Winnebago travels the country “in search of good game players who are energetic, enthusiastic and fun and could get the chance to audition for the show.”
The Wheelmobile has traveled over 350,000 miles, wooing over 1 million Wheel of Fortune fans to check out the festivities. According to the show, “The majority of contestants who appear on Wheel of Fortune came out to Wheelmobile events in their hometowns.”
To check out the Wheelmobile, guests are invited to the Claridge Saturday and Sunday, September 19th and 20th from 12 to 4 pm. According to promoters for the event, “We will begin handing out applications one hour before each show begins. Shows will begin at 12:00 pm, 1:30 pm, and 3:00 with each show lasting about an hour. There is no need to arrive hours in advance of the event. Everyone who attends the event will be able to submit an application. We will select participants to come to the stage and audition via a random draw.”
