Monday: Mekons ($20)
Formed in the late 1970s, The Mekons are the longest-running and one of the most prolific British punk-rock bands. The nine-member group has released 18 albums and 7 EPs since their start, their most recent released in 2011. Over the years their musical style has evolved with the changing of their group, incorporating aspects of country, folk and alternative rock music. They are now often described as a post-punk or alternative country band and have gained a cult following. Listen before you go: "Where Were You?" Tuesday: Son Lux ($12-14)
Singer-producer Ryan Lott, aka Son Lux, is a Denver native based in New York City who specializes in post-rock, alternative hip-hop and trip-hop. Since his first single in 2008, the young artist has released four albums, two EPs and a number of singles. He is also a member of the trio band of the same genre, Sisyphus. Wednesday: Shania Twain ($46-147)
Shania Twain, Canadian singer-songwriter best known for her powerful country-pop anthems, has sold over 85 million records and is one of the world's best-selling artists of all time. Since her 1993 debut album, she has recorded four studio albums, been on multiple world tours, received five Grammy awards, 27 BMI Songwriter awards, stars on Canadian's Walk of Fame and Hollywood Walk of Fame and an induction into the Canadian Music Hall of Fame. Twain is the best-selling female artist in the history of country music, earning her the honorary nickname "Queen of Country Pop." Listen before you go: "Man! I Feel Like A Woman." Thursday: Beatlemania NOW ($39-61)
Beatlemania Now, a live tribute band to The Beatles, will be performing in Atlantic City throughout the summer. Celebrating 50 years of the music that changed the world, the four-member band aims to recreate The Beatles experience for nostalgic audiences or those who just wish they were there. They recreate historic moments of the 60s and 70s against a backdrop of stunning images, and perform a variety of Beatles classics and songs never heard outside of The Beatles' recording studio. Diana Krall with The Philadelphia Orchestra
Diana Krall is a Canadian jazz pianist and singer who has been active in the music industry since 1993. Since her debut she has released 12 studio albums, 3 live albums and has sold more than 6 million albums in the U.S. and more than 15 million worldwide. In 2009, Billboard named Krall the second jazz artist of the 2000s, and she is the only jazz artist to have eight albums debuting at the top of the Billboard jazz charts. Krall has also won five Grammy Awards and eight Juno Awards. In this show, she will be performing alongside the world renown Philadelphia Orchestra. Listen before you go:"Love Is Where You Are." Emily King at Underground Arts
Emily King is a R&B/soul singer-songwriter active since 2004. Her 2007 debut album, East Side Story, was nominated for a Grammy Award for Best Contemporary R&B Album. Traveller at Johnny Brenda's
Alternative-country musician Jonny Fritz teamed up with Robert Ellis and Cory Chisel to create Traveller.
