Bill Cosby Dumped By Agent, Leaving Him Un-Repped in Hollywood
It happened late last year, but Deadline just dug up the news that Bill Cosby was quietly dumped by CAA, the Hollywood talent agency that had represented him since 2012. The move leaves him without representation in Tinseltown.
Deadline reports that the only one sticking by Cosby is his publicist David Brokaw, who declined when the website asked him for comment.
This news comes in a week that has seen a whole new series of backlashes against the comedian. They stem from the new news that Cosby admitted a decade ago to purchasing Quaaludes with the intent of giving them to women he wanted to have sex with. On Monday, former supporter Jill Scott proclaimed on Twitter that she was wrong to ever stand up for him; and, on Tuesday, Disney decided to remove a statue of Cosby at its Hollywood Studios theme park in Florida.
