Hannibal Buress hasn’t talked too much about the fact that it was basically him who reinvigorated the discussion around Bill Cosby and the sexual assault allegations surrounding him. After his performance in Philadelphia last year, when he flat-out called Cosby a rapist, countless other women spoke up saying they were sexually assaulted by the comedian.

Last night on Jimmy Kimmel Live!, host Jimmy Kimmel asked him how it felt to be the person who ruined the comedian’s reputation. “It’s definitely a weird situation,” Buress told him, and then he went straight for the joke. “You know, the weirdest thing about getting a death threat from a male bodybuilder/stripper on Facebook is when you click on his profile and see that you have one mutual friend.”
