Taylor Swift Helps Berks County Woman Pay Her Student Loan

Taylor Swift has, once again, come one step closer to being Superwoman. As if we needed another reason to love the Reading-born megastar, Ms. Swift showed her charitable side by surprising a Pennsylvania woman with a shower of gifts, including one very special token.

Rebekah Bortniker of Berks County recently took to her Tumblr, voicing concern about re-paying her student loans. Bortniker was one of many Swift fans who was, well, stalked by Swift herself, and received a box full of holiday gifts from the singing superstar. In Bortniker’s case, Swift sent her artwork that she painted, plus a check for $1,989 (the title of Swift’s latest album is 1989, named after the year she was born).
