The actor on the set of Backwards
As you might know, James Van Der Beek is in town filming a movie called Backwards. It’s a movie about a 30-year-old woman who fails to make the Olympics for the second time, so she takes a coaching job at a school where her boss is also her ex-boyfriend and struggles to adjust to life off the race course. It was written by and stars Haverford native Sarah Megan Thomas and is directed by Ben Hickernell, who lives in Philadelphia. He also directed the movie Lebanon in 2010. Meredith Apfelbaum is with Van Der Beek in this scene.
