What’s Black (Tie) & White & Red All Over? An Unforgettable Night for a Good Cause

Desperate for a night out of the house where you can get dressed up and have fun with your nearest and dearest? (We get it, the cabin fever has officially kicked in!). On Saturday, March 23rd, the Eastern Pennsylvania Chapter of the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society (LLS) will host the sixth annual Red & White Ball at the Philadelphia Marriott Downtown Hotel. The event is guaranteed to delight but this year’s theme in particular does not disappoint—A Night in Morocco.

Since being founded in 1949, LLS has invested more than $1.2 billion in groundbreaking research to advance cures, thanks to yearly fundraising events like the Red & White Ball. There’s literally never been a better reason to party.

But if you need yet another reason to get dolled up, eat and drink amazing food and dance the night away, all for a good cause, here are three really good ones!

A Party with a Purpose

In the past five years, the Red & White Ball has raised more than $2.8 million for the LLS mission to cure leukemia, lymphoma, Hodgkin’s disease and myeloma and improve the quality of life of patients and their families. Dresses, Drinks & Dancing

The black-tie event is the perfect excuse to break out that designer gown at the back of your closet, you’ve dreamed about wearing since you bought it. The event kicks off with a cocktail reception at 6PM before transitioning into a formal sit-down dinner with silent and live auctions, followed by a night of dancing to one of Philly’s best bands. But the party doesn’t stop there. You can hit up the Hard Rock Café for the After Party sponsored by Suvoda from 11:30PM to 2AM to indulge in late night bites, an open bar and a dessert spread, as you cap off a memorable evening with your closest friends.

An Audi Up for Grabs

By purchasing a $100 raffle ticket, you’ll be entered for a chance to win your dream car, valued at $41,900! The best part?
