Trenton’s Cannabis Dispensary Opens for Recreational Sales

As part of their opening day festivities Theory Wellness is making a $10,000 donation to the Trenton Area Soup Kitchen (TASK) for use towards their mobile food kitchen. TASK’s mobile meal program, which was launched in March of 2024, currently serves more than 800 meals per week at 4 sites throughout the City of Trenton. In addition, TASK serves more than 10,000 meals, 6 days a week, at their soup kitchen in Trenton’s North Ward as well as 35 community meal sites across Mercer County, NJ, and lower Bucks County, PA. Theory Wellness will also be collecting shelf-stable canned goods donations from customers from Friday – Sunday of opening weekend. Each item donated will be worth $2 in credit; customers can get up to $10 in credit to take off their purchase that weekend.

Theory Wellness Trenton is located at 461 New York Ave. Recreational customers must be 21 years of age or older, and must provide a valid ID to enter. They are open for recreational sales from 9 a.m.–9 p.m., Sunday–Thursday; 9 a.m.–10 p.m. Friday and Saturday, and open for medical patients at 7 a.m. daily.
