4 Reasons Why This Year’s Philadelphia Auto Show Is a Must
Next month, hundreds of cars will motor into the Pennslyvania Convention Center for the annual Philadelphia Auto Show. The 10-day event kicks off on February 8 and runs through February 17. Brand-new models, classics, exotics and more will go on display, but there’s more for families, industry members and auto enthusiasts to discover. Between appearances from all-star athletes and virtual car games, the Delaware Valley Honda Dealers will have it all going on at their space. Here are four reasons to make the Honda booth your first stop at the 2020 Auto Show.
Meet your favorite athletes.
Want to hang out with professional football player Alshon Jeffery, pro skateboarder Ishod Wair or professional soccer player Allie Long? Honda is hosting three special meet-and-greets in partnership with Big Brothers Big Sisters. Each session will run between 12 p.m. and 2 p.m and focus on powering your dreams, whether it’s on or off the field. Say hello and snag an autograph from Alshon on Saturday, February 8; Ishod on Sunday, February 9; and Allie on Saturday, February 15. Then enter the exclusive Honda giveaways for a chance to win major prizes inspired by these champions.
Try your hand at auto artwork.
Bring a custom paint job to life with a virtual car painting experience. From February 10-12, visitors can digitally decorate a Honda with their dream drawings and then print pictures of their designs to take home, so don’t hold back on the hot rod flames.
(Virtually) race your friends and family.
Think you’ve got what it takes to win on the racecourse? Pull on a pair of virtual reality goggles to find out. Honda will host VR road races on February 13-14 and February 16-17 where drivers can test the limits — no holds barred — behind the wheel of a digitally rendered Honda.
Take an Instagram-worthy photo.
It’s not every day you get to hang out with pro athletes. Take snaps with Alshon, Ishod or Allie at the Honda photo booth during their appearances on February 8, 9 and 15. You’ll receive a print to take with you plus a digital version to post on social media for your sports-loving friends. Planning to stop by another time? A special GIF photo booth will pop up on the remaining days of the show on February 10-14 and February 16-17. The computer-generated backdrop will put you behind the wheel of a Honda, so you can keep an animated souvenir from this year’s Auto Show.
