Here’s What You Missed at Philadelphia Magazine’s Design Home 2019
Sitting on 2.9 acres of land in Villanova, the 2019 Design Home focused on style, comfort and function, rather than formality and grandeur. The goal was to create a home with a formal elegance that respected the architectural past and fit the neighborhood setting, but with a decidedly modern appeal. The result, Farmhouse Modern, a classic Main Line stone farmhouse designed and constructed by Weiss Philadelphia Luxury Homes, with KAM Interiors and Winslow Interiors as consulting interior designers and in conjunction with MC&A Architects. Guests had the chance to tour the modern farmhouse from October 12th through November 3rd. During this time, events included a preview party, ladies’ night and the drive and tour with Audi Wynnewood. Guests enjoyed exclusive catering by Di Bruno Bros. Catering and Events, cocktails featuring Brown-Forman spirits, and custom experiences by Design Home partners. All proceeds benefited MANNA, a nonprofit organization delivering vital nourishment to individuals and families facing life-threatening illnesses.
