End-of-Summer Fun: Real Philly Deli Night at the PHS Pop-Up Garden
As much as we hate to admit it, the last official day of summer is September 22. And while it’s too late to squeeze in another trip to the Shore, it’s not too late for award-winning hoagies, beer gardens and ice cream. Because, let’s be honest, we’ll always make time for hoagies, beer gardens and ice cream.
The mid-week fun comes courtesy of deli phenom, Dietz & Watson. On Tuesday, September 15th from 6 to 9pm, swing by the PHS Pop-Up Beer Garden for live music, corn hole and an array of eats from the Real Philly Deli food truck. The truck’s menu will feature a host of appetizers, franks and sandwiches made with Dietz & Watson products. Our favorites? Savory standouts like candied bacon, parmesan fries, German style dogs and artisan triple grilled cheese. And as an added bonus, Little Baby’s Ice Cream will be on hand, serving up a limited edition flavor created just for Dietz & Watson, prosciutto and fig ice cream.
At the event, they will also announce the winning recipe of the Best Philly Hoagie contest. To get in on the fun (admission is free!), pencil this end-of-summer shindig into your calendars. We promise: it’s so much better than your typical happy hour haunt.
The Details: 6pm to 9pm; PHS Pop-Up Garden South Street, 1438 South Street.
