The Designer: Katharine Possage, 24, Philadelphia University grad, founder of Katharine Roman clothing line.
The Look: Cable-knit sweater, triple-layered chiffon and lace skirt edged with hand beading, four-ply crepe-back satin bustier.
The Inspiration: “The beauty of decaying nature and the changing of the seasons.”
Design Notes: When she couldn’t find her ideal fabric for the sweater, Possage ended up crafting it out of a lightweight cable-knit blanket. The skirt beading took nearly 50 hours.
