United By Blue Has a Major Expansion Underway – and a Huge Warehouse Sale This Weekend
If you don’t already know about United By Blue, Philly’s coolest eco-conscious coffee shop clothier launched by Temple U grad Brian Linton in 2010, here’s your chance to jump on the quickly growing #BlueMovement. This weekend only, United By Blue is hosting its biggest annual warehouse sale to date. Starting this Friday (We’re told this is the busiest day, so plan for a crowd), shop the flagship store in Old City for discounts of up to 90 percent on stylish graphic tees, soft woven hoodies, canvas bags and rustic accessories. We’re talking 3-for-the-price-of-1 deals on thousands of outdoor apparel items from past seasons and salesman samples—who can resist?
With these amazing sale prices comes even better news: United By Blue is opening a NYC store next month on Elizabeth Street in Nolita (The neighborhood is situated right in between Soho and East Village). This marks the brand’s fourth location and first brick-and-mortar presence in the Big Apple, where they have plans to organize citywide cleanups, host environmentally-focused workshops and movie screenings, and foster a strong sense of community as they’ve done right here in Philly. UBB’s Director of Retail Jen Singley estimates a soft opening on June 1st and hints that the business is also scouting potential locations on the West Coast. We can’t wait to see what the future holds for United By Blue—and in the meantime, we’ll be shopping the warehouse sale.
