Buy This Now: Anthropologie Launches Exclusive Dress by Philly Designer Megan Swansen

We love watching local designers have their breakout moment, and for designer Megan Swansen, that moment is now. We’ve had our eye on the Philly-based designer since she appeared in our first-ever Philly Mag Fashion Project back in 2013, and now a piece from her spring/summer collection has made the (virtual) racks of Anthropologie. This morning, Anthro released 30 of Swansen’s fringed denim shift dresses ($268) exclusively online. Tip: There are only 30 dresses available, so you’ll want to act fast.
Coincidentally, it was this very same piece — a shell-pink denim shift with fringed seams — that we coveted back in March when Swansen debuted her minimal and sophisticated spring/summer 2015 collection, all of which was handmade in Philly with locally sourced fabrics.
