Start Lining Up Now: H&M’s Next Designer Collaboration Is With Balmain

One of the best things to come out of last night’s Billboard Music Awards was a little announcement by Balmain designer Olivier Rousteing. The 29-year-old Rousteing walked the red carpet with models-of-the-moment Kendall Jenner and Jourdan Dunn, all wearing pieces from Balmain’s collaboration with H&M. (At the same time, Balmain tweeted this.)
Cue freakout.
Just as Alexander Wang ruled Coachella last year (it was here that he announced his H&M collaboration), Rousteing and his “Balmain Army” reigned over last night’s awards show, with Chrissy Teigen, Lily Aldridge, Kylie Jenner and Taylor Swift all sporting the line.
But the Rousteing-Jenner-Dunn trio caused the most commotion, as they offered a sneak peek of the H&M collab, which is slated to launch online and in select stores November 5th. The line will include menswear, womenswear, shoes and accessories and will surely be sold out within minutes. (Remember the Alexander Wang x H&M chaos in Philly?) Our advice: Start lining up now.
