Old City Is Getting an Awesome New Home and Lifestyle Shop

One person’s loss is another’s gain, and this adage holds true for neighborhoods, too. Case in point: Manayunk, which loses one its best stores, Meadowsweet Mercantile, today. The picture-perfect vintage/reclaimed/handmade home and lifestyle shop officially closed its Main Street location yesterday, though it will be having a major moving sale this weekend (more on that later). The shop is relocating to Old City, and will soft-open at 47 North 2nd Street on Friday, May 1st.

About that moving sale: Head to the Manayunk location (4390 Main Street) this Friday and Saturday from 12pm to 5pm to score some deals on the shop’s coolly rustic merch.
