Gloria Steinem Wore This NSFW Ring (And Here’s Where You Can Get One)
What do you do when you meet feminist icon Gloria Steinem? If you’re Brooklyn-based street artist Caledonia Curry, widely known as Swoon, you give her the clitoris ring off your finger.

According to the Instagram caption, Swoon, who worked in addiction recovery in Philly and is one of the artists participating in the Mural Arts’s Open Source project, gave Steinem the “Clitoring” ring by PenelopiJones.
The jeweler’s website explains that handmade rings “illustrate the newly rediscovered internal structure of the clitoris.” But the wearable anatomy will cost you: The silver version is $122; the 14K yellow gold ring will set you back $535. Pendants are available as well. Buy the jewelry here (though I’d perhaps think twice before buying Steinem’s bauble for an engagement ring, as suggested on the site. Try explaining that to your grandmother).
