Retail News: Michael Kors’s Rittenhouse Location Officially Opens

It’s finally here! After a mighty long process, the highly anticipated Michael Kors at 1705 Walnut Street has officially opened. The 8,000-square foot, two-floor store celebrated its opening on Friday, December 19, and is home to women’s apparel, shoes, bags and the collection line—just in time for shoppers to score last-minute gifts. Turns out, the procrastination may have paid off; the store is offering exclusive holiday and grand opening promotions.

We called the store and confirmed that shoppers can expect that most bags will be priced up to 30 percent off with some sale bags marked down an additional 25 percent (yep, you can stack the discounts). In addition, the store is one of the first locations to already stock resortwear (everyone else won’t get it until January 5th). So if a warm-weather getaway is on the calendar for you or a giftee, get shopping. For everyone else, the sparkly new storefront is bound to be enticing.
