Local Florist Sullivan Owen’s Lookbook of Festive Holiday Decor Is Here and It Is Gorgeous

It’s no secret that we here at Philly Mag are huge fans of Sullivan Owen, the Old Kensington-based florist who creates otherworldly things out of flowers. So when her holiday lookbook arrived in my inbox, I was prepared to be completely and utterly awed—and I was.

The book illustrates what sorts of holiday trimming Sullivan can do for clients—wreaths with unexpected sprays of feathers, swirls of garland, miniature twinkling trees—and the whole lot will make you want to move to an old stone house in Chestnut Hill, decorate your trees with antique silver spoons, light a fire in every fireplace you see, and then curl up outside with hot cocoa under a mink blanket on a vintage yellow sofa.
