Your Guide To This Weekend’s Shopping Events
It’s finally Friday, Shoppists! We know it’s one of the first chilly bone-chillingly frigid nights of the season, but resist the urge to don a Snuggie and shop from your couch, and pencil in one of these fantastic shopping events happening in Philly. From antiques and British pop music to a cheese expert and cider, this is the fall-worthy fun you’ve been waiting for all season.
Style Camp: Tonight from 5pm to 9pm, pop by the Chestnut Hill boutique for all the fall charm you can get your hands on. That means: warm cider, after-hours shopping, and new styles and goods (like these amazing gift boxes from Zoet Bathlatier). 8433 Germantown Avenue, Chestnut Hill, 215-242-3108.
Duke & Winston: Remember when we posted about Duke & Winston’s new antique section, Duke’s Library? Well, the preppy-cool shop is celebrating its grand opening tonight. Kevin O’Brien Studio: The textile company is hosting its first-ever sample sale at its South Philly studio. The pop-up shop kicks off today and will stay open until December 23rd. You’ll find super-luxe scarves, pillows, curtain, fabric and bedding at up to 75 percent off. In exchange, she’ll use her practiced hands to apply faux eyelashes you can wear out tonight. 892 County Line Rd, Bryn Mawr, 610-220-0042.
