Would-Be Sellers in Phoenixville Turn to Airbnb

Last summer we featured a modern house in the woods near Valley Forge National Historical Park that’s all clean lines and windows. The house was removed from the market but has recently appeared on Airbnb.

The rental is available in three different configurations. Travelers can rent the entire house , just the master suite, or just the guest bedroom. We hear they’ve already got their first booking from an extended family looking to rent the house for Thanksgiving.

We wondered if the owners are biding their time and waiting for the market to improve, but they tell us that isn’t the case. They had been planning to move into the city, but the public school debacle and an unexpected job change made them decide to stay in Phoenixville for the time being.

Airbnb travelers will certainly benefit from their change of heart. Staying in this house would be quite a step up from couch surfing.
