Pending Sale: Curtis Institute Founder’s Delancey Street Home
Well, it’s about time! Last month, we pondered whythe Mary Curtis Bok townhouse was still for sale after a year. (Bok was the founder of the Curtis Institute.) One Property reader noted the kitchen’s lack of natural light and need for renovations. Still, the four-story property is on Philadelphia’s ritzy Delancey Street and has an elevator and six bedrooms. Yet 400-plus days later, the wallflower home saw little public activity. Until now.
We really hope this pending sale soon becomes official. The house must be getting pretty lonely!
