Rittenhouse Square: Median Sale Prices Continue to Soar

According to Prudential, Fox & Roach’s market report from October 2013, median sale prices in Rittenhouse Square just keep getting higher. Last month, the median sale price for a residential unit was $435,000. This month, it’s $642,000. But what’s really striking is the year-over-year figure: In October 2012, the median sale price in the same area was $275,000.

And higher prices don’t mean fewer sales. In fact, the number of units sold increased 33 percent since last year.
