Phillies manager Charlie Manuel has been fired, which means there’s probably no need for him to stick around Haddonfield, NJ, where he stays during baseball season. His off-season house, however, is in Winter Haven, Florida, a rather modest area of affordable homes–including this one that’s right next door to Manuel’s. (Or at least around the bend. They don’t do “next door” in this kind of Florida.)

Do you know what this means, Phillies fans? This is an opportunity to move in next to Cholly and dry his tears! To console him every day! To thank him for the World Series and for all he’s done for the team! To help him by carrying his groceries from the car to the door! No, of course he won’t see you as a nuisance. It would be a blessing.
