Alas, we reach the end of our journey through Philadelphia Magazine’s Real Estate 2013 issue: The New Hot Neigborhoods. Our last stop? Not one neighborhood, really, but several: bucolic spots like Red Hill, Pennsburg, East Greenville–anywhere a Main Street will do.

You’ll find little crime in these areas, and certainly less to do–but that’s how some people like it, which is why increasing numbers of city escapees find themselves in Upper Perkiomen, just praying the hills will keep from being too quickly dotted by new homes.
