Hottest Suburban Philadelphia Neighborhoods: East Greenwich! Who Knew?

Here it is: the first suburban entry in Philadelphia Magazine’s April 2013 Real Estate issue “The New Hot Neighborhoods.” East Greenwich certainly isn’t new to East Greenwich, but while Graduate Hospital feels like an inevitability in terms of real estate hotness, this pastoral New Jersey township is a bit of a surprise.

Think of how pleasant it would be to go from the harried everyday of working in Philadelphia back to the bucolic setting of a slice of South Jersey with a population of just 4,200. What would that resemble? It’s hard to imagine. Is it like Cheers, where everybody knows your name? East Greenwich is only a half-hour from Philly, but surely feels a world away.
