Sacred Heart Academy Bryn Mawr (SHA) is a Girls, K-12, Independent, Catholic School located on the Main Line section of suburban Philadelphia in a historic mansion on the hill. Since 1865, SHA has been educating and empowering girls to be competent and compassionate leaders for life. SHA earned the #1 “All Girls School in Pennsylvania” ranking by Niche in 2024. Our signature programs include Lower School Multi-Age Classrooms, which tailor education to students’ unique needs; robust Leadership and Service programs in Middle and Upper Schools; and a Global Exchange Program for Upper School students through the consortium of 150 Sacred Heart Schools in 41 countries. Teachers at SHA know the students well; we boast a 7:1 student-to-teach ratio. Our diverse student body — 34% of which practice other faiths — hail from 40+ zip codes, with busing provided to most.
