This Terrain at Styers Wedding is a Pink Boho Dream

High school sweethearts Shae Enstad and Alok Shukla met on the school bus on their way to Cherry Hill High School East. Their first date was fitting for the age at which their relationship began: They went to Friendly’s for dinner and then saw Transformers in theaters.
The pair spent seven years together before getting engaged on Shae’s birthday, December 23rd. “I always hated my birthday as it’s close to the holidays,” Shae says. “It always seems forgotten.” With this in mind, Alok planned a birthday no one could forget, popping the question at their favorite restaurant surrounded by friends and family.
The couple took three years to plan the wedding of their dreams, a Terrain celebration with a Coachella vibe. For both the bride and groom, the Faye & Renee florals were a highlight: “Shae’s bouquet was beautiful and out of a fairytale,” Alok says. “Everything felt so light, happy and romantic,” Shae adds.
Signature drinks named after Shae and Alok’s cats included the Lola, a vodka and lavender lemonade, and the Luca, a ginger beer infused with lime, apple cider and dark rum.
The most sentimental moment of the wedding was right after saying “I do.” “We couldn’t believe after all these years, we were finally husband and wife,” Shae says. “We will cherish that moment for a very long time.”
