The couple: Shannon Moore and Ryan Cala from Philadelphia
The ring: My ring has a cushion-cut diamond with a diamond halo set in white gold with a twisted diamond band. We picked my ring out together after searching bit, and we both love it. We picked this ring out with the incredible assistance of Jay from Jay Roberts Jewelers in Marlton.
The proposal: I’m a very hard person to surprise because I’m so nosy! I assumed that Ryan was going to propose on our vacation that was coming up to Asheville, North Carolina. However, the Wednesday before we left for that vacation, I came home from work and Ryan had a pre-vacation present for me: He surprised me with a pair of Louboutins because he knew that I had always wanted a pair!
I opened the box, and the ring was around the heel of one of the shoes, which I saw as I took them out of the box! I was completely surprised and blown away.
The band: We have already picked out our bands, and I am getting a white-gold diamond band that goes perfectly with my engagement ring.
