They're adding local beer into the mix, too!

We’re big fans of Brides Against Breast Cancer and the amazing bridal shows/gown sales they put on at venues across the country, so you can imagine our excitement when we found out that they’re kicking off 2015 with a stop here in Philly.

The organization’s “Nationwide Tour of Gowns”—a two-day event that gives local brides the opportunity to shop a massive selection of discounted wedding gowns while raising money for a good cause—will touch down at the Clarion Hotel in Essington on January 2 and 3. The whole production commences tonight with a special VIP Event, where brides-to-be get first dibs on all of the gorgeous dresses while enjoying snacks, signature drinks and plenty of giveaways, and continues on Saturday with their general admission gown sale.

All of the dresses you’ll find here (they’ve been donated by designers, manufacturers, bridal salons, and former brides) range in price from $75-1,800 and in size from 4-18. Layaway plans are available as well.

The best part about this particular event, though, is that they’re switching things up by adding a beer tasting to the schedule, too. So, while you’re shopping for the dress of your dreams, you can also sample a few local brews. Hey, you may even end up serving one at your wedding reception!

Tickets cost $20 for the VIP Event and $5 for General Admission. You can purchase your tickets and even volunteer to help out at the event here.
