Laurentius Salon’s New Eyelash and Brow Bar is Your Ticket to Perfect Arches and Long, Lush Lashes
We’ve gone on and on about the billion different ways you can do up your hair for the Big Day (like these pretty braided styles), but what we haven’t touched on as frequently is hair of a different nature—your brows and eyelashes, that is. And considering that perfectly groomed arches and long, lush lashes are important features of you bridal makeup look, we were super excited to hear about the new eyelash and brow bar at Laurentius Salon.
Custom brow shaping, done through waxing or tweezing, is what’s on the menu here, plus brow tinting to match your hair color.
In the lash department, Laurentius offers tinting too, as well as two different extension options depending on the look that you’re after. For a full, natural appearance, you’ll want the individual mink eyelashes, which are attached one-by-one to achieve the desired look. If dramatic eyes are more your style, try the double interlocking silk lashes, a new system with two or four single lashes in one application (this technique also quickens up the process, which can take up to three hours with the mink lashes). Both versions last two to three weeks, and are completely waterproof—so no need to worry about dangling lashes during your honeymoon—or during wedding-day tears.
The extensions can be done a few days prior to the wedding, but if you’ve never had eyelash extensions before, the team at Laurentius suggests trying them out a month or two before to make sure you like the way they look and that you’ll be comfortable wearing them every day. Then, you can have them redone before the Big Day.
Prices start at $25 for brow shaping and tinting services, with extensions ranging from $250-$350 based on which type you choose. And just for you, dear PW readers, salon owner Laurentius Purnama is offering 10-percent off your first brow or lash service.
