The Kimye Countdown Is On: Here Is the Kim-Kanye Wedding Invitation (Plus More Big-Day Deets)

Over the weekend, the supposed wedding invitation beckoning the Chosen Few (hundred) wedding guests of Kim Kardashian and Kanye West to their blessed celebration was “leaked” out into the world, giving us all confirmation that their nuptials do seem to be happening this upcoming weekend, Saturday, May 24. In Paris. (See it here. While the design isn’t particularly snazzy, the texture of the slate gray background does kinda make me want to touch it.)
As you can see, the when is there, but as for the where, all they get is “Paris, France,” and a line basically telling them that once they reach the City of Light, the happy couple will cough up a little more info.
Also over the weekend, family and close friends surprised her with a bridal shower—although I’d like to know how she just happened to be in an outfit that was basically born to be worn to a bridal shower if she didn’t know where she was going. (See that here.)
Back in the beginning of the year, word on the street was that E! was going to film the entire thing (read: pay for and plan), but Kim has recently clarified on Twitter, saying that the actual ceremony itself will not be filmed: “We’ve decided to keep this close to our heart and share thru photos.”
I guess we’ll see.
