7 Philly Bakeries With Awesome Macarons For Your Wedding

Thanks to our buds over at Foobooz, we have been sitting here all morning struggling to do anything but fantasize about macarons.

The culprit? Their roundup of spots in which to get mouth-watering macarons in Philly. (Well, that and the accompanying picture.)

And since macarons have become such a thing in weddings these days—seriously, we have seen them laid out along with the wedding cake at dessert tables, given to guests as favors either at their place setting or in little cellophane to-go bags at the end of the night, ahem, in the pages of our own magazine—and, well, since misery (/summer diet-busting sugar cravings) loves company, we obviously had to share this helpful information with our brides.

Their roundup hits on great spots in Center City, Passyunk and the Main Line, but because there is one other fab place in the area that we happen to know serves insane macarons (the type of insane where, if you look around the room when they’re being served, you will notice that every single person does that omg-holy-crap-eyebrow-raise as soon as they bite into them), we are adding it here: Colonial Farms in Washington Crossing. (We know this, and can attest to the aforementioned eyebrow raise-thing, because they were served at the wedding of Philadelphia Wedding‘s photo director, and we may or may not have stuffed our faces with them there.)
