Gorgeous Fresh-Flower Hair Pieces For Your Big Day

A springy way to adorn your 'do, from a fabulous local florist.

Um, we’re obsessed.

Is there a style out there that isn’t really your own, but that you kind of wish you could pull off? For us, that’s probably the boho thing. The long locks, the lace, the flowing fabrics, the easy, breezy shapes. The flowers in the hair.

We felt a major pang of that today when we came across these so-awesome floral headpieces from Philly florist Sullivan Owen—but here’s the good news: Whether the whole flower child thing is so you, or you’d just like to borrow some inspiration from the carefree style for your wedding-day look, these fresh hair adornments are the perfect way to do it.

Owen has always been inspired by fashion—not surprising, given her years as a visual merchandiser for Anthro—so it was only natural that when she started getting into flowers, she figured out a way for brides (or anyone!) to wear them, too. And since she was getting more and more requests from fashion-forward brides for her to create something just for them, she decided to put together a photo shoot as a kind of inspirational catalog of ideas.

If you love one of these, below, or want her to create something just for your Big Day, just set up a time to go chat with her in her Queen Village studio (even if she’s not doing the flowers for your entire event!). You’ll talk about your dress and your wedding-day hairstyle (she’ll want to make sure that the piece itself and how you’ll wear it complement it perfectly!), as well as any favorite colors or specific blooms you may have in mind. She just needs a few weeks, and prices tend to range from $40-$100. Scroll below for some of our favorite looks.

So what do you think? Would you totally rock one of these as you floated down the aisle?
