Carson Wentz is racking up rings. The redheaded gunslinger and his fiancée, Maddie Oberg, married over the weekend in Bucks County.

“Such a blessing to finally get to marry my best friend!” the quarterback wrote on Instagram. “It was an incredible day and God has fingerprints all over our story!”

It was a quick turnaround, too: Days after the Birds secured a miraculous Super Bowl victory in February, Wentz posted photos of the couple’s rooftop engagement in Kentucky. “She said YES!” Wentz wrote. “And now Maddie and I both got us a ring.”

She said YES! And now Maddie and I both got us a ring 💍😎 can’t wait to marry my best friend! God is doing some amazing things and I can’t thank him enough!

KYW reports Wentz apparently wanted to tie the knot before training camp, to which players must report on July 25th.

The celebration was held at the Lakehouse Inn in Perkasie. In a powder-blue suit, Wentz and Oberg danced under sparklers with friends and family. One Facebook user, who took pictures from afar, said a man in a kayak nearby started an Eagles chant after vows were exchanged, which, c’mon buddy.

Wentz introduced Oberg to the public in December. Following a quiet split from his high school sweetheart, Wentz posted photos of the two with gingerbread men on Instagram:

Oberg studied elementary education at Missouri Southern State University and interned with Mission of Hope: Haiti. Wentz’ foundation, Audience of One, recently partnered with Mission of Hope, announcing the construction of a behemoth youth sports complex in Haiti with fellow teammates in tow. Wentz and Jordan Matthews flew to Port-Au-Prince in May of 2017 for a mission trip.

Wentz was out of commission with an ACL tear during the Super Bowl, and isn’t a guarantee for the season opener, but held up long enough for him to walk down the aisle.
