Sixers Guard Ben Simmons Was a MASSIVE Baby

This past Sunday was Mother’s Day – a day when youngsters take to social media to applaud their moms by sharing an old photo or two and a touching message about how tough their job is.
Sixers guard Ben Simmons couldn’t resist getting in on the action himself, setting the Internet ablaze with an Instagram post dedicated to his “mum” that has everybody freaking out over his size as an infant:
Damn, that is one enormous baby! Can you imagine having to lug around Ben at that age? He’s about the size of a sack of potatoes.
Simmons commenting that he was a “big ass baby” is a bit of an understatement. What are they putting in the water down under? Was mad scientist Wayne Szalinski the Simmons family doctor?
They say that big babies are durable, but Simmons has yet to prove that in the NBA after sitting out what should’ve been his rookie season last year with a broken foot. Luckily for Sixers fans, Ben has long since shed that baby weight and is back on the practice court providing optimism for the future.
