Police: Drunk Man Vandalized Pa. Senate

Police have arrested a man who they say sprayed a fire extinguisher all over the Pennsylvania Senate after breaking in to the building in the middle of the night.
According to reports, 27-year-old Ryan Stump of Gettsyburg entered the building through a window around 2 a.m. Monday morning, took a fire extinguisher off a wall and emptied the whole thing in hallways outside Senate offices before police apprehended him.
Capitol Police told NewsWorks that two members of their force, in addition to House and Senate security units, were inside the building at the time of the incident. They reportedly apprehended Stump about 10 minutes after he entered the building. He was charged with criminal trespassing, criminal mischief, burglary, institutional vandalism, disorderly conduct, resisting arrest and public drunkenness, according to CNN.
Senate offices were closed yesterday while a cleaning crew tended to the building.

CNN reports that at least four floors were affected, and the damage will reportedly cost the Capitol between $10,000 and $30,000.
No individual offices were reportedly damaged. Officials conducted air-quality tests before allowing employees to return to work today.
