Center City Sips: Photo Essay
The idea for Center City District Sips was conjured up in 2004, with the goal of adding a little foot traffic to a downtown that was dead in the summer. Twelve years later, it’s a full-fledged phenomenon with more than 80 venues participating, some holding thousands of people, and hoards of 20- and 30-somethings coming from their city jobs or in from the suburbs. Welcome to the region’s biggest party. A look back at the summer of Sips.
