Girl, 4, Fatally Shot in North Philly
Police say it's unclear if the shooting was accidental.

A 4-year-old girl is dead after being shot once in the right eye earlier today inside her home on 20th street near Montgomery Avenue in North Philadelphia.
The girl’s 25-year-old mother and 3-year-old sister were both at the scene at the time of the shooting, according to police. The child was transported to Hahnemann University Hospital where she was pronounced dead at 1:01 p.m.
A gun was found at the scene, but circumstances surrounding the tot’s death are still being investigated. Police said it’s unclear if the shooting was accidental.
