Fast food and your daily commute don’t typically go together (or maybe they do, I don’t really know you). But today, they certainly go hand in hand … sort of.

McDonald’s is putting on its third SEPTA token giveaway of the month today at the BSL Walnut/ Locust Station from 4:30 p.m.  until 6:30 p.m. The first two took place on April 12th and 20th, as Philadelphians lined up to receive their transportation goodie bags.

The free tokens come courtesy of McDonald’s MONEY MONOPOLY game. Back on April 12th, McDonald’s began to dole out $15,000 in free tokens and $3,000 in free parking. Today is the last day to get in on the action, and around $8,000 in free tokens are expected to be distributed, according to Eddie Ravert, a McDonald’s spokesman.

“We are allowing fans to ‘take a ride’ on SEPTA in celebration of the return of Monopoly at McDonalds,” a press release for the events said.

Don’t count on just waltzing up to Walnut and Locust to grab your free tokens, though; hundreds of people lined up before the last giveaway even got underway, and there’s no reason to expect sparser crowds today for the last event.
