Nutter Blasts Sanders for Clinton “Qualifications” Comment
Former Philly Mayor Michael Nutter blasted Bernie Sanders for Sanders’ comments that Hillary Clinton isn’t qualified to be president.
Sanders made his comments Wednesday at a rally in Philadelphia, and Nutter — long a Clinton partisan — quickly attacked Sanders on Twitter:
Tonight @BernieSanders said .@HillaryClinton wasn't qualified to be President. THIS is LOW and crosses the line. Take it back, Senator.

.@HillaryClinton is #morethanqualified to be POTUS, & @BernieSanders is actually attacking .@POTUS thru Hillary. Shame Senator, take it back

Cute "strategy" – .@BernieSanders claims to run positive campaign while berning .@HillaryClinton with vicious negative – THAT is the "Bern".

.@BernieSanders talks to NY Daily News, can't even explain HIS OWN PLAN to "break up banks", & has the nerve to talk about "qualifications"?

Sanders, meanwhile, seems to want to move on — telling a news conference today that he was responding to media headlines that suggested Clinton had called him unqualified.
“This is not the type of politics that I want to get in, I know it’s what the media loves,” he told a news conference today. “It is not the type of politics that I want to get in, but let me also be very clear. If Secretary Clinton thinks that I just come from the small state of Vermont, we are not used to this, we will get used to it fast.”
