VIDEO: Scary Stabbing, Robbery at Huntington SEPTA Stop

Police are looking for a man who stabbed a woman and robbed her at the Huntington El station at 1:32 Sunday morning.

A man pulled a knife on a woman riding the elevator at a SEPTA El stop this weekend, Philadelphia Police say. The cops released surveillance footage of the terrifying robbery at the Huntington Station on the Market-Frankford Line.

The footage shows two people, who police say did not know each other, entering an elevator at the stop. As they ride up the elevator, the man faces the woman, pulls a knife and stabs her in the front. He then appears to go through her pockets before pulling the victim down to the ground with him. He eventually runs away.

Police say the victim, a 30-year-old woman, was treated at Episcopal Hospital for a puncture wound. She was listed in stable condition.

Police released video of the incident and stills of the attacker. Anyone with information on his whereabouts is urged to contact East Detectives at 215-686-3243 or 215-686-3244.
