All-Male Dance Troupe Invading Franky Bradley’s
There’s a lot of drag and burlesque shows in town, but there really isn’t an all-male dance show, with trained performers, in the gayborhood…until now.
Enter Bradley’s Bucks, a troupe of five male dancers—Tommy Schimmel, Teddy Fatscher, Miles Yeung, Jonathon Melendez, and Abe Acay—who will be taking center stage at, well, you guessed it: Franky Bradley’s. Their motto? “The dance troupe man enough to raise the bar in Philadelphia!”
The show, which premieres on Thursday, October 15th, will have a focus on the athleticism and talent of the dancers who are part of the ensemble. Dave Morreale, who is responsible for programing at Franky Bradley’s, has been particularly excited about this project.
“I’m very proud to be a part of this,” he said. “I believe this show can really be something special as it is virtually the first of its kind.”
Tickets to the 10 pm event are $7, or $5 with a student ID. There will also be drink specials and Sly Fox Brewing Company beers.
