PHOTOS: Mr. Popesicle Visits the Philly Mag Offices

We here at Philly Mag were graced with a very special surprise: A giant rainbow ice pop visited us and delivered some rater tasty, all-natural popsicles from Lil Pop Shop. The walking and talking frozen treat is named Mr. Popesicle, in honor of the Pope’s visit, and he is raising funds for The Trevor Project tomorrow, Friday, September 25, at 13th and Locust between 11 am and 3 pm. We sampled the treats and they really were delicious and made of fresh fruit (the raspberry and mango portions of the pops were to die for). Below you’ll find some shots from when Mr. Popesicle ascended 36 floors to our offices to deliver some rainbow joy.

Mr. Popesicle could barely fit in the elevator. This was a very hard picture to take.
