Join Gov. Wolf, Mayor Nutter, Abbi Jacobson, Todd Carmichael, and More at ThinkFest 2015

Early-bird tickets are on sale now for our fourth-annual conference celebrating Philly-based innovation and inspiration.

To state the obvious: Philadelphia is not a city that has a wide reputation for innovation. (Still waiting for those Metrocards!) But while we might not have the collective cash of Silicon Valley or the in-your-face flash of New York, this town is filled brilliant people who are moving things forward, discovering better ways, and thinking without limits.

This is what ThinkFest is all about.

For the fourth year in a row, we have asked some of the most interesting people who care about Philadelphia to share their biggest ideas — they’ve got the types of stories, lessons, and plans that move our city forward and inspire us on a personal level.

This year’s ThinkFest will be held on November 6th at Drexel’s LeBow College of Business. Among the many highlights:

  • Gov. Tom Wolf and Mayor Michael Nutter discuss what it takes to build a 21st-century city and some solutions to our biggest problems
  • Abbi Jacobson, of Comedy Central’s Broad City fame, chats with author Jennifer Weiner about Hollywood, Philly, being a female in comedy, and the new world of entertainment
  • La Colombe’s Todd Carmichael opens up about his greatest journey yet: the challenges of being both a creative entrepreneur and a business-focused CEO
  • Wilco Cable exec Brigitte Daniel discusses how diversity might be the hidden secret to supercharging Philly’s tech scene

Of course, these are just a few of the amazing speakers who will be presenting. (There’s also a networking breakfast and post-event happy hour, flash performances curated by FringeArts, inspiring videos, and much more.)

Early-bird tickets are on sale until October 4th. See the whole lineup and purchase tickets at phillymag.com/thinkfest.
